PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable terminal to execute non-contact charging without downloading unnecessary information, and a cradle to supply the charging power to the portable terminal without requiring calculation of electric fee and facilities and without being suffered from disadvantage. SOLUTION: The charging power is transmitted contactlessly from the portable telephone terminal 2 to the cradle 1 by using a planar coil 10. Prior to power transmission to the portable telephone terminal 2, the cradle 1 authenticates the portable telephone terminal 2 through the planar coil 10 by using an information signal for permission authentication of transmission of charging power and that for permission authentication of data transmission to the portable telephone terminal 2, and if authentication is successfully performed, the cradle 1 transmits previously prepared distribution data in return for charging to the portable telephone terminal 2, and then, transmits the charging power to the portable telephone terminal 2.
