PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-limiting circuit capable of increasing a current in a usual operation, and to provide an endoscope. SOLUTION: A resistor 14 detects a load current amount to be output to a poststage circuit. A Zener diode 10 outputs a voltage obtained by applying an offset voltage Vof to a voltage of an end of the resistor 14. A transistor 15 generates a control voltage corresponding to a difference between the voltage output from the Zener diode 10 and the voltage of the other end of the resistor 14.
