PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording and reproduction maintaining the quality of high quality video data. SOLUTION: The video data processor 30 is provided with: data recording and reproducing processing parts 31-1 and 31-2; and a control part 32. The data recording and reproducing processing part 13-1 is configured using: a video data interface part 311-1 for converting input video data to recording data or converting reproducing data to output video data; a processor 313-1 for supplying the recording data from the video data interface part 311-1 to a recorder 40-1 and supplying the reproducing data read from the recorder 40-1 to the video data interface part 311-1; and buses 312-1 and 314-1 for supplying the recording data and the reproducing data. The video data interface part 311-2 is configured similarly as well. The control part 32 controls the processors of the data recording and reproducing processing parts 31-1 and 31-2 and simultaneously records and/or reproduces the video data of a plurality of systems.
