The arrangement for carrying coins inserted into an automatic pre-payment machine, partic a telephone, from the input chute to testing stations, comprises a rotating plate with pincer type guide elements for the coins. Coins are picked up from a retaining pin to which they roll individually from the inclined chute, by levers which are inter-connected by toothed segments and actuated by mechanical switches as the plate rotates. The pincer-like levers with pressure rollers press the coin they are holding against a fixed guide to the testing station, until it is finally ejected into a returns channel or a delivery channel. |
