PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that stroke adjustment at a screw connecting part of a vacuum bulb and an insulating rod cannot be carried out in an assembled state in an insulating frame of a cylindrical capsule shaped switching device. SOLUTION: This is the cylindrical insulating frame to house the vacuum bulb in which a stroke adjusting part to carry out contact pressure adjustment of a fixed contact and a movable contact is installed between a movable side conductor drawn out from a vacuum container in which a fixed side conductor having the fixed contact as well as a movable side conductor having the movable contact are built and an insulating rod continuously connected to a driving mechanism of this movable side conductor. This has a leading-out port in which the fixed side conductor connected to the fixed side conductor and the movable side conductor connected to the movable side conductor are lead out to its side face, and furthermore on its side face, it has an adjustable opening part which is installed opposed to the stroke adjusting part and into which tools necessary for adjustment of the adjusting part are inserted.
