PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder and a pickup device comprising the same in which when a conductor is wound around a terminal main portion of the holder, the conductor is prevented from being cut and is more easily cut at a desired position. SOLUTION: The holder 1 comprises the terminal main portion 1T around which the conductive conductor 200 is wound. The terminal main portion 1T constitutes a holder 1 and a pickup device provided therewith, with a winding portion 10 around which the conductor 200 is wound and at least a cutting portion 60 that facilitates cut of the conductor 200. The winding portion 10 has a substantially curved surface portion 11. The cutting portion 60 has substantially sharp corner portions 61A and 62A. Thereby, when the conductor 200 is wound around the terminal main portion 1T, the conductor 200 can be prevented from being cut, and can be more easily cut at the desired position of the conductor 200 improving the cutting property of the conductor 200.
