PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steamer basket lifting device suppressing the release of heat during operation as much as possible, facilitating the operation, taking in/out a steamer basket in a short time, and dispensing with a labor for mounting a rubber mat between the base part of the steamer lifting device and a steamer. SOLUTION: This steamer basket lifting device is a device for lifting/lowering steamer baskets 1 superposed into a plurality of stages on the steamer 20. This device is provided with a frame body 2 mounted on the steamer 20, a lifting mechanism 4 connected to the frame body 2, and support means 6 connected to the lifting mechanism 4 and supporting the steamer basket 1, wherein the lower face of the frame body 2 is formed with a recessed groove 21 across the whole circumference and an elastic packing 22 is mounted in the recessed groove 21.
