PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording paper stacker capable of stably stacking recording papers. SOLUTION: The recording paper stacker has a recording paper holding plate for stacking recording papers discharged from a discharge port which is inclined so that a discharge port side is deeper and provided turnably, with respect to a stacker wall on the discharge port side. The recording paper holding plate is urged upward by an urging means (for example, a coil spring) so that its inclination is changed according to the weight of the stacked recording papers; at least the fore end part of the recording paper holding plate is turnable along a recording paper guide plate, in an overlapping manner with the recording paper guide plate provided on the stacker wall on the discharge port side.
