PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device in which connection terminals for electrically connecting boards to each other by a simple structure are easily connected to each other. SOLUTION: In this column assist-type electric power steering device, a torque sensor for detecting the torque of a steering shaft is installed in a reduction gear box. A control unit mounting part is formed for mounting a control unit drivingly controlling an electric motor. The control unit comprises a plurality of module boards. The connection terminals for performing at least one of the electrical connections between the connection terminals 24a-24c for electrically connecting the module boards to each other and the torque sensor and a predetermined module board is guided by a connection terminal guide part 24.
