PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting having a portion of non-annular cross section. SOLUTION: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing the fitting 2 having different terminal end parts 3, 4 are disclosed, and this fitting is permitted to connect the different terminal parts. For example, the fitting 2 is a terminal connector with screw thread and potentially provided with one terminal part 4 formed as a compressed fitting and the other terminal 3 as the screw thread of a bearing end part. Desirably, an intermediate part 5 having polygonal cross sectional surface, is formed between the terminal end parts 3, 4.
