The following starting materials are prepared: 2 - methyl - 4 - p - biphenylyl thiazole and its methiodide; 2,5 - dimethyl - 1 - phenylpyrrole and 1 - phenyl - 2,5 - dimethylpyrrole - 3 - carboxaldehyde; 3 - (2,5 - dimethyl - 1 - phenylpyrrol-3-yl) acrylomethylamide and its thioamide and p - phenyl - phenacyl - N - methyl - 3- (2,5 - dimethyl - 1 - phenyl - pyrrol - 3 - yl)- acrylothioimidate - HBr; 3 - (1,2,5 - trimethylpyrrol - 3 - yl) acrylomethylamide and its thioamide and p - bromophenacyl - N - methyl - 3- (1,2,5 - trimethylpyrrol - 3 - yl) acrylothioimidate HBr, and N-methylcarbamoylmethyltriphenylphosphonium chloride. Pharmaceutical compositions useful in treating nematode infection are in forms suitable for oral administration. |
