A device for detecting the position is provided to detect the location of the moving object precisely through the simple configuration. A device for detecting the position an image sensor which is installed in order to take an image of the moving object with the background image of the moving object and a position detection part detecting the location of the moving object. The position detection part compares the image for the detection which the moving object is taken with the base image which the moving object is not taken and the image sensor takes.
