<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus capable of being downsized as a whole by supplying DC current to a power conversion semiconductor device through a bus bar for a capacitor from a DC power supply to achieve size reduction in a bus bar for supplying power. <P>SOLUTION: This power conversion apparatus includes: a pair of bus bars 3 for supplying power having a pair of connecting terminals for a power supply connected to the DC power supply on one end portion; a smoothing capacitor module 4 having a pair of bus bars 6 for a capacitor connected to the other end portion of the bus bars 3 for supplying power and a plurality of capacitors 5 connected between the bus bars for a capacitor; and a power conversion semiconductor module 9 having a plurality of power conversion semiconductor devices connected to the bus bars 6 for a capacitor, which convert DC current supplied through the bus bars 6 for a capacitor from the DC power supply into AC current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
