<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer container and image forming apparatus capable of inhibiting the developer from remaining while aggregating in the container, and enabling to restrain the cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the toner bottle 200, the protruding ridges 201a... protruding to inside the cylinder storing the toner are provided and the toner is discharged from the discharge port by rotation of the cylinder part which is rotationally driven around the center axis. When to the center axis the cross section of the cylinder part is projected from the longitudinal direction, on the internal surface of the cylinder, one or more regions 201b where no protruding ridge 201a exists, and also the projections of the protruding ridges 201a are overlapping with that of the adjacent protruding ridges 201a.
