PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate reversing device with a simple and inexpensive constitution capable of coping with green sheets of varieties of thickness. SOLUTION: This substrate reversing device is provided with a pair of substrate mounting members 1 and 2 having bearing parts 1b and 2b on each one end side of plate parts 1a and 2a on which the green sheets can be mounted, a spindle 3 inserted into the bearing parts 1b and 2b, and driving arms 5 and 6 for rotating both the substrate mounting members 1 and 2 around the spindle 3 by about 90°in directions to approach and separate the mutual plate parts 1a and 2a, to mount the green sheets 10 mounted on the plate part 1a with the green sheets 10 reversed to the plate part 2a. By securing clearances 7 and 8 to permit moving of the bearing parts 1b and 2b in prescribed directions in relation to the spindle 3 between the bearing parts 1b and 2b and the spindle 3, both the substrate mounting members 1 and 2 can be slid and moved in directions to narrow an opposed interval of the plate parts 1a and 2a which have substantially parallel standing attitudes by rotary movement.
