PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester elastomer excellent in heat resistance, mechanical properties, color tone, and aroma retainability, and advantageously usable as a container or a packaging material for foods, drinks or the like, and fibers. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a polyester elastomer composition containing≤50 ppm free aromatic dicarboxylic acid,≤10 ppm free butane diol,≤10 ppm free aromatic dicarboxylic acid monobutylene glycol ester, and≤100 ppm free aromatic dicarboxylic acid dibutylene glycol ester in a polyester elastomer produced from a dicarboxylic acid component mainly comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, a glycol component mainly comprising 1,4-butane diol and having a mol.wt. lower than 250 and a polyalkylene glycol having a mol.wt. of 400-6,000.
