PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet customers' diverse needs by enabling a restricted site to be as effectively utilized as much as possible and enhancing the degree of freedom in selecting the installation position of fittings 70 for entrance/exit. SOLUTION: This log house 10 comprises: an external log wall 20 as an external wall which is formed by a log assembling method; an opening 40 for entrance/exit, which is provided in a prescribed position on the external log wall 20; a receding section 50 which is provided on an indoor side with respect to the external log wall 20 and in a position to communicate with the opening 40; an external receding wall 60 as an external wall for partitioning the receding section 50 and an indoor space; and the fittings 70 for entrance/exit, which are provided in a predetermined position on the external receding wall 60.
