Disclosed is a power converter comprising a power conversion circuit containing a switching element (6) and converting a direct current power to an alternating current power, a capacitor-integrated bus bar, and a case (2) for containing the power conversion circuit and the capacitor-integrated bus bar. The capacitor-integrated bus bar contains a highly dielectric plate-like resin (36) which uses a resin material as a base, and a pair of metal conductors (31, 32) each having a facing region facing each other and closely adhering to either side of the plate-like resin (36). The plate-like resin (36) and the pair of metal conductors (31, 32) of the capacitor-integrated bus bar constitute a capacitor. An electric power is supplied to the power conversion circuit through the metal conductors (31, 32).
