PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To represent the details of one input with combinations of simultaneous pressing of two or more dedicated keys by enabling all input operations required for a portable terminal with only five fingers, and to enable a user to optionally register and correct the correspondence relation between an action pattern as a combination of simultaneous pressing and the details of input. SOLUTION: The arrangement and size of five keys 2-6 corresponding to five fingers are set to correspond to the difference among the five fingers. The portable terminal is provided with an action pattern registering table for registering action patterns as combinations of simultaneous entries of key switch based on the simultaneous pressing of the two or more keys out of the five keys and the details of input corresponding to each of the action patterns so that they are collated, and an action pattern registering means for enabling the user to optionally register and correct the corresponding relation in accordance with the display of a display unit by using the five keys.
