PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of classified information from an image stored for reuse. SOLUTION: A client device designates a specific region in an image to be transmitted and its processing method, and creates processing information. A job is created from the image and the processing information and is transmitted to an image processing device. The image processing apparatus transmits the image by facsimile. Processing for deleting the specific image in the specific region is executed in accordance with the processing information. A storage section stores the processing information and the image after being processed. In retransmission, the image is read from the storage section and the read image is edited so as to add an image of characters such as date to the specific region in accordance with the processing information.
