PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold accumulation system for a vehicle capable of complementing an operation for cooling until the required time by a cold accumulation energy accumulated during the operation for cooling after the operation for cooling is stopped while securing advantages in the cost or space without changing an existing air-conditioning configuration. SOLUTION: The cold accumulation system for the vehicle is equipped with an air-conditioning unit AU which contains an evaporator 6 and a heater core 9, and accumulates the cold during the operation for cooling so as to complement the operation for cooling using the cold accumulation energy after the operation for cooling is stopped. The cold accumulation system comprises: a cold accumulation tank 50 which is connected in parallel to an engine cooling water circulator for the heater core 9, and has a reservoir layer 50a for the engine cooling water and a coolant layer 50b in which the coolant from the evaporator 6 circulates; and a mode switching means for switching a cold accumulation mode for cooling the engine cooling water stored in the reservoir layer 50a with the coolant from the evaporator 6, and a cooling complementing mode for leading the cooled engine cooling water in the reservoir layer 50a to the heater core 9.
