PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polytetrafluoroethylene-containing powdery material having≥45 mass% polytetrafluoroethylene and less remaining emulsifying agent component, and suitable for an industrial production. SOLUTION: This method for producing the polytetrafluoroethylene-containing powdery material containing the polytetrafluoroethylene and an organic polymer is characterized by sending an aqueous dispersion containing 3 to 5 pts.mass emulsifying agent in 100 pts.mass polymer constituted by 45 to 65 mass% polytetrafluoroethylene and 55 to 35 mass% organic polymer by using a volume type rotary pump.
