摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect degrees of contamination caused by irradiation of the facilities and constituent members of a nuclear power plant by a rational method, to accurately and economically detect the contamination for executing efficient and economical scrapping of the nuclear power plant, since the contamination of the facilities and constituent members of the nuclear power plant proceeds by irradiation over a long period of time, as in facilities using nuclear fuels such as the nuclear power plant. SOLUTION: A portion near a contamination-degree detecting area of the surfaces of the facilities and constituent members of the nuclear power plant is filled with a liquid substance, fine powder of the facilities and constituent members produced on the occasion of forming a groove or dent measurable by contact-type mechanical scanning is swallowed into the liquid substance, and a degree of contamination of the facilities and constituent members of a detection object is detected efficiently and with high accuracy by analyzing the degree of contamination of the fine powder contained in this liquid substance.
