PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting resin composition for providing a cured product having an excellent modulus of elasticity and high toughness without impairing heat resistance etc., and a cured product obtained by curing the same. SOLUTION: The thermosetting resin composition comprises an epoxy resin (A), a core-shell polymer (B) containing a carboxy group existing through a side chain of a number of atoms of≥3 extended from a polymer main chain in the shell part and a curing agent and/or a curing catalyst (C).
