PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce sounds to be introduced from outside of a car into its inside and facilitate the work of installing an opening trim to the flange of the car body. SOLUTION: In the opening trim 10 installed in the flange 83 in order to close a gap CL1 between the flange 83 of the car body 82 and a cover member 84, there is provided a main body 20 having a base 22 to be disposed on the leading end side 83a of the flange 83 and a pair of extenders 24 and 26 extending at a position to pinch the flange 83 from the base 22 for inserting the flange 83 between the pair of extenders 24 and 26, and lip parts 32 and 34 for holding the flange 83 by extending from the inner surfaces 24a and 26a of the pair of extenders 24 and 26, respectively. Further, a sound absorbing member 50 is installed in the inner surfaces 22a, 24a and 26a of the main body 20 at a position closer to the base side 22 than the lip parts 32 and 34.
