PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern printing apparatus capable of transferring an ink pattern formed on a printing plate onto a sheet to be transferred without such defects as distortion, flaw and non-uniformity and with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The pattern printing apparatus has a flat sheet-like printing plate on which an ink pattern is formed on an adsorption table, the sheet to be transferred is placed in the upper side direction of the printing plate, a transfer roll is lowered on the outside face of the sheet to be transferred, and the ink pattern is transferred by moving the transfer roll from the back to the front direction while it is pressed. The pattern printing apparatus is characterized in that the back side face of the sheet to be transferred and the upper side face of the printing plate at the front and the back of the transfer roll always have a definite angle, and a mechanism in which the sheet to be transferred is held by a definite tensile force is equipped.
