The present invention is directed to a reconstituted surfactant comprisin g a lipid carrier, a polypeptide analog of the native surfactant protein SP- C, and a polypeptide comprising a sequence of repeated units constituted of a number of hydrophobic amino acid residues comprised between 3 and 8 and on e basic amino acid residue. The invention is also directed to the pharmaceut ical compositions thereof and to its use for the prophylaxis and/or treatmen t of RDS and other respiratory disorders.
