<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a dust aggromerate, which is hardly pulverized in a furnace and has high strength, by agglomerating zinc-containing dust to be generated in a vertical scrap melting furnace. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the zinc-containing dust aggromerate includes the steps of: adding water to a raw material, which is based on the dust containing ≥10 mass% zinc and a hydraulic binder and contains 4-15 mass% hydraulic binder, so that the amount of the water to be added is [11+0.33×Cem] to [13+0.33×Cem] parts mass (wherein Cem is the amount (mass%) of the hydraulic binder in the raw material) on the basis of 100 parts mass raw material; mixing the water-added raw material; subjecting the obtained mixture to compression molding; and hydrating/hardening the obtained molding to obtain the dust aggromerate. It is preferable that at the step of mixing the water-added raw material, the product obtained by multiplying the Froude number Fr(-) of a mixer having an agitation blade by the mixing time τ (minute) is ≥100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
