PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of jump in reproduction in an Open-GOP structure. SOLUTION: An entry map (EP_map) indicates the position of an intra-picture at the GOP head in a video stream in correspondence with the reproduction time (PTS_EP_start) of the intra-picture and a flag (is_angle_change_point) indicating whether a corresponding entry position is a position capable of switching reproduction from other angle video image in multiangle section or not. At the position capable of switching reproduction, an intra-picture (IDR picture) at the Closed-GOP head which is aiming at refresh operation of decoding exists. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
