PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a user who is unskilled in gradation correction, to perform color conversion as intended. SOLUTION: Input of an input video image is accepted by a video input section 11, input of a target image is accepted by a target image input section 13, and target distribution information regarding luminance, ink component and tone is created from the target image, respectively, by a target luminance distribution creating section 26, a target ink distribution creating section 27 and a target tone distribution creating section 28. Conversion functions for reflecting the input video image with the target distribution information regarding the luminance, the ink component and the tone are created, respectively, by a luminance conversion function creating section 23, an ink conversion function creating section 24 and a tone conversion function creating section 25, and the relevant conversion functions are applied to the input video image.
