PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment with which a transmission path is efficiently used to keep the number of communicable mobile stations appropriate and successful communication quality is secured in communication between mobile stations without having base stations. SOLUTION: In the communication equipment 1 loaded on each mobile station, a slot timing generation part 11 and a transmission control part 14 detect vacant slots on the transmission path, each mobile station raises transmission rate of data to be transmitted, respectively as the vacant slots decrease on the transmission path, to secure vacancy on the transmission path, and in addition, transmission rate of the data to be transmitted, respectively by the communication equipment loaded on each mobile station is lowered as the vacant slots increase on the transmission path, to effectively use the transmission path.
