PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method of a pig infected by verotoxin type 2e (VT2e) produced Escherichia coli by a field test, by detecting infection of verotoxin type 2e (VT2e) produced Escherichia coli. SOLUTION: In this method, screening of infection of a pig by verotoxin type 2e (VT2e) produced Escherichia coli of the pig is performed by performing detection by using ELISA for measuring an antibody against verotoxin type 2e (VT2e) in a biosample collected from the pig.
