PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical steel pipe connecting fixture by which steel pipes can be connected to each other very easily without a need for preliminary work and the steel pipes can be smoothly erected after the connection. SOLUTION: The connecting fixture 1 is formed into a flat cylindrical shape with a tapered front end by rolling a belt-like metal plate P. A gap G having a predetermined width is formed between the end edges of the rolled metal plate P. A plurality of projections 3, 3, 3 are formed on an outer peripheral surface at the same height positions and at equal intervals in a manner of projecting outward in radial directions from the center of the cylindrical metal plate P.
