<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve steering response of a drive control unit for a motor-driven automobile which is mounted on the motor-driven automobile where the torque of left and right rear wheels is separately controlled with a motor provided to the left and right rear wheels of the vehicle respectively. <P>SOLUTION: A rear part distribution ratio increase degree is calculated, and whether a handle is operated leftwise or rightwise is discriminated. When the rear part distribution ratio increase degree is at the maximum value within a preset normal change range, the outer wheel torque and inner wheel torque to be a target yaw rate determined based on steering angle and vehicle speed are taken as the outer wheel torque at maximum and inner wheel torque at maximum respectively. Then a differential value between the outer wheel torque at maximum and direct advancement torque as well as inner wheel torque at maximum and direct advancement torque are calculated respectively as the outer wheel differential torque at maximum and inner wheel differential torque at maximum. The outer wheel differential torque at maximum and inner wheel differential torque at maximum are respectively multiplied with the corrective coefficient that increases as the rear part distribution ratio increase degree grows, which are respectively added with the direct advancement torque to produce an outer wheel torque and inner wheel torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
