<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a video satisfactory in quality even when opening degrees are different for every pixel. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 34 of a color liquid crystal display device is provided with: an opening control part 345 for controlling an opening of a liquid crystal display panel for every pixel; an emission light control part 344 for controlling light quantities of emission light of a first prescribed number of LEDs 21 disposed in a backlight light source; a reflection light detecting part 342 for detecting a light quantity of reflection light emitted from the first prescribed number of LEDs 21 disposed in the backlight light source and reflected by the liquid crystal display panel; and a correction value computing part 343 for computing correction values correcting the light quantities of the first prescribed number of LEDs 21 and the opening of the liquid crystal display panel via the opening control part 345 and the emission light control part 344 based on the light quantity of the reflection light detected by the reflection light detecting part 342. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
