<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device capable of smoothly suppressing a distance (H0) from a projection light emitting position to a surface to be projected (screen surface). <P>SOLUTION: When a light guide optical system is divided into two areas by the center axis of light composed by a light composing part (dichroic prism 28), light from a lens part (projection lens 30) is reflected and projected by a mirror part (bending mirror 40 and aspherical mirror 50) so that the divided area (divided area having width D2) having smaller width in a direction perpendicular to the center axis may be positioned on the surface to be projected (screen surface) side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
