FIXING DEVICE AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and fast fixing device of long life in which deviation of a pressurizing belt is prevented and stable run of the pressurizing belt is achieved without causing a recess and a crack.

SOLUTION: The fixing device having a pressurizing means 6 abutting on a heat roller 1 via the pressurizing belt 2, is characterized in that: a belt restricting member 41 formed from a cylindrical guide part 41a for guiding the internal face of the pressurizing belt 2 and a flange part 41b abutting on the end face of the pressurizing belt 2 abuts on a pressurizing arm 7 that brings the pressurizing belt 2 into firm contact with the heat roller 1; and the abutting faces of the pressurizing arm 7 and belt restricting member 41 have at least one projection 42.
