PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve many problems such as causing large-scale construction work and increasing cost and a construction period due to the necessity to completely remove interior furnishing including backing and to remove all facilities in the same way, in the case of applying a conventional electromagnetic shielding method to an existing building. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic shielding method is characterized in that a flexible electromagnetic shielding material 5 is laid on ceiling-wall finishing backing 1a and floor slabs to form a shielding layer immediately before the installation of equipment arranged in and after a process of an interior finishing material of an object room and then to install the equipment arranged in and after the process of the interior finishing material.
