PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a texture adjusting device, a texture adjusting method and a texture adjusting program by which texture adjustment can be speedily and easily made. SOLUTION: The texture adjusting device performs texture adjustment by changing dither patterns. The device has: a candidate dither pattern creating means 32 which creates several candidate dither patterns in which dot output points are interchanged without changing the adjustment gradation out of dot output points in the dither patterns with specified adjustment gradation; a patch output means 33 which creates and outputs patches composed of continuously arranged candidate dither patterns for each candidate dither pattern; and a dither pattern selecting means 36 which allows the user to select the candidate dither pattern whose texture is most reduced on the basis of the result output by the patch output means 33.
