PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an actuator capable of appropriately executing a start process when engine start operation is performed during rewriting of a flag value accompanied by an engine stop operation, and a stop process when engine stop operation is performed during rewriting of the flag accompanied by engine start operation. SOLUTION: A motor control device 60 executes the stop process storing an absolute position of the control shaft 21 after completion of rewriting as a final value, rewriting the flag to another value, and stopping electricity supply to the control part 61 when engine stop operation is performed during rewriting of the flag accompanied by engine start operation. And the motor control device 60 executes start process setting the completion value as the initial value of the absolute position under the condition the flag is set to another value after completion of rewriting, and rewriting the flag to one value when engine start operation is performed during rewriting of the flag accompanied by engine stop operation.
