PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidering apparatus which can embroider embroidering patterns including a plurality of colors without making errors accumulated by a simple constitution without changing a needle thread. SOLUTION: This embroidering apparatus is equipped with an embroidery data storage means 79, a dyeing means 21 which dyes a needle thread, an embroidering means 52 and 53 which embroider a specified pattern on an embroidery object, an embroidering needle position detecting means 51 which detects the position of an embroidering needle 13, a balance position detecting means 51 which detects the position of a balance, and a dyeing controlling means 55. The embroidery data storage means 79 stores coordinate data 81 indicating the needle location of the embroidering needle 13, and color arranging data 82 of the needle thread at positions between respective coordinates. The dyeing controlling means 55 controls the embroidering apparatus in such a manner that the needle thread may be dyed conforming to the color arrangement data 82 between coordinates which is read in advance by a thread length portion from the embroidering needle 13 to the dyeing position which faces the dyeing means 21, more than the position between coordinates where the embroidery is performed. The dyeing controlling means 55 performs beforehand reading based on the thread length which is obtained from the detection results of the embroidering needle position detector 51 and the balance position detector 51.
