PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stiffening and resoiling generated upon the washing of clothes. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a liquid detergent composition for clothes comprising: (A) a nonionic surfactant of 10 to 50 mass%; (B) long-length tertiary amine and/or the salt thereof and/or a cationic surfactant of 0.1 to 10 mass%; and (C) a water soluble polymer having (c1) an alkylene terephthalate unit and/or an alkylene isophthalate unit and (c2) an oxyalkylene unit and/or a polyoxyalkylene unit of 0.01 to 10 mass%.
