Composition which can be used in particular as odorant for a gaseous fuel, more particularly natural gas, comprising: from 0.1 to 49.9 parts by weight of at least one alkyl sulphide (I) of formula: <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>R1-S-R2<?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> in which R1 and R2, which are identical or different, represent: an alkyl radical comprising from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; or R1 and R2, taken with the sulphur atom to which they are attached, represent a saturated or unsaturated ring comprising from 3 to 5 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted by a C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkenyl radical; from 50 to 99.8 parts by weight of at least two alkyl acrylates (II), the alkyl radicals of which comprise from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, preferably from 1 to 8; from 0.001 to 0.1 part by weight of at least one compound (III) which inhibits the polymerization of the alkyl acrylates (II).
