A traffic parameter using a clustered piezo sensor and an apparatus and a method for measuring a load of a vehicle are provided to improve reliability of a signal characteristic by installing sensors in a road to be measured after separating a beam type piezo sensor into several sensors and arranging the sensors in a clustered type. A clustered type sensor is divided in a predetermined length and is buried in a traffic information measurement section of a road in a beam pattern. The clustered type sensor is buried vertically to a reference line of the road and outputs an individual signal. A piezo signal converter converts an analog signal outputted from the clustered type piezo sensor to a digital signal. A weight converting device converts the signal applied from the piezo signal converter to a weight value. A traffic parameter extraction/calculation unit calculates the signal applied from the piezo signal converter and extracts the traffic parameter from the piezo signal converter. A controller outputs specification data of an individual traveling vehicle by applying a load value of a shaft and a wheel of the vehicle to the calculated parameter from the weight value and the traffic parameter from the piezo signal converter. |
