摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint detection unit having an electric power generation function, at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Both a fingerprint detection portion and a solar battery portion are formed of amorphous silicon films of identical structure each being sandwiched between a lower electrode and an upper electrode wired on a substrate. Specifically, each amorphous silicon film has the structure of p-type region layer, i-type region layer and n-type region layer laminated in order, and is formed using an identical material for the p-type region layer of the fingerprint detection portion and the p-type region layer of the solar battery portion, an identical material for the i-type region layer of the fingerprint detection portion and the i-type region layer of the solar battery portion, and an identical material for the n-type region layer of the fingerprint detection portion and the n-type region layer of the solar battery portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
