PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile roof structure strong against an earthquake and a gale and facilitating tile roofing work. SOLUTION: A roof board 300 and an under lining material 400 are fixed on rafters 200 disposed parallel to the inclining direction of a roof at substantially equal spaces L. Vertical crosspieces 500 are arranged along the rafters 200 thereon, and the vertical crosspieces 500 are fixed to the rafters 200. Tiles 100 are arranged thereon in a state of being engaged with each other. In this case, the working width W of the tile 100 is half of the space L between the rafters 200. Among the tiles 100, the tiles 100 arranged on the vertical crosspieces 500 are fixed to the vertical crosspieces 500 with nails 600 (fixing members). COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
