PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone gel composition giving a cured silicone gel product which is excellent in heat resistance at a high temperature and can maintain low elastic modulus and low stress even when used for a long period at a high temperature. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a silicone gel composition which comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane represented by the following general formula (1): R<SB>a</SB>R<SP>1</SP><SB>b</SB>SiO<SB>(4-a-b)/2</SB>(1) and having at least one alkenyl group bound to the silicon atom in one molecule: 100 pts.mass, (B) an organo hydrogen polysiloxane represented by the following general formula (2): R<SP>2</SP><SB>c</SB>H<SB>d</SB>SiO<SB>(4-c-d)/2</SB>(2): such an amount that the ratio of the hydrogen atoms to alkenyl group bound to the silicon atom in the component (A) is 0.01 to 3 to 1, (C) a platinum-based catalyst: an effective amount, and (D) a reaction product prepared by thermally treating the following (a), (b) and (c) at a temperature of≥150°C: 0.01 to 5 pts.mass, wherein (a) an organopolysiloxane: 100 pts.mass, (b) a cerium carboxylate represented by the general formula: (R<SP>3</SP>COO)<SB>n</SB>M<SP>1</SP>: a cerium amount is 0.05 to 5 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of the component (a), and (c) a titanium or zirconium compound represented by general formula: (R<SP>4</SP>O)<SB>4</SB>M<SP>2</SP>and/or its partial hydrolysis condensate: such an amount that the mass of the titanium or zirconium is 0.1 to 5 times the mass of the cerium in the component (b), and to a cured silicone gel product obtained by curing the composition.
