PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat reservoir maintaining a prescribed temperature over a long period, performing heat accumulation work without requiring labors and times, and reducing manufacturing cost, and a cushion using the heat reservoir. SOLUTION: The heat reservoir 10 can maintain the prescribed temperature over the long period, since each fiber 31 of a synthetic fiber group or a natural fiber group constituting a latent heat reservoir 30 has powder 32, and since each powder grain 32a of the powder 32 is held at the prescribed phase-changing temperature over the long period. A heating member 20 can be heated by an electromagnetic induction heater IH, the heating member 20 is not required thereby to be connected to an electric power source for the purpose of the heat accumulation work, and the heat accumulation work is carried out without requiring the labors and times.
