PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition suitable for a clear solid soap excellent in foaming capability and foam quality, and also capable of giving moist skin touch feeling after use. SOLUTION: The clear soap composition comprises a clearing agent(s) and a fatty acid soap to be cleared by the clearing agent(s). In this composition, glycosyl trehalose is compounded additionally as a clearing agent.
