PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of producing small-lots of various types of glass products with good energy efficiency and in a short time. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises an upper structure and a lower structure. The upper structure comprises one or more upper furnace bodies which are the upper divided parts of a glass melting furnace. The lower structure comprises one or more sets comprising a lower furnace body which is the lower divided part of the glass melting furnace and will form the same by being brought into contact with one of the upper furnace bodies, a temperature control tank connected to the lower furnace body, and a molding device connected to the outlet of the temperature control tank. One or both of the upper and lower structures are constructed to be movable. At least one of the upper furnace bodies of the upper structure is brought into contact with a lower furnace body of at least one set of the lower structure to form the glass melting furnace. An oxygen burner on the ceiling wall of the upper furnace body is ignited downward, and raw materials for glass and auxiliary materials are supplied downward into the flame by gas conveyance for melting. The resulting glass melt is temporarily stored in the bottom section of the lower furnace body which is located immediately under the glass melt, and it is allowed to flow into the temperature control tank as it is.
